Background

Black Therapist & Company is a mental health clinic committed to making resources and support accessible to the community. They needed a professional online presence that would allow patients and providers to easily find information, stay connected, and communicate securely. I led every stage of the project: from branding and design to development and technical setup. The result is a platform that not only meets the clinic’s functional needs but also supports the important work they do in mental health.

Challenge

The clinic previously lacked a centralized platform that reflected their professionalism and mission. Without a website, it was difficult for patients to quickly locate resources or understand the services offered. In addition, ensuring that communication systems met HIPAA compliance standards was a critical priority.

I worked with the founder to build their online presence from the ground up:
Domain and Hosting Setup: Selected and configured a custom domain with secure hosting to establish credibility.
Custom WordPress Website: Designed and developed a clean, easy-to-navigate site that highlights services, resources, and the clinic’s mission.
Logo Design: Created a unique logo inspired by their own artwork, ensuring the brand identity felt authentic and recognizable.
Email Configuration: Set up professional email accounts that meet HIPAA compliance standards, protecting sensitive communications between patients and providers.
The clinic now has a professional, reliable platform that enhances accessibility for patients while supporting providers with secure communication tools. The website reflects their mission, improves user experience, and establishes trust with visitors from their very first interaction.
